AMELTAN decorates Ogun SSA as a patron

Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Assistants of Nigeria, AMELTAN, Ogun State Chapter had decorated the Senior Special Adviser to the state governor on Health, Dr. Kehinde Olayiwola Ololade, as the patron of the Association.
He was decorated at the 2021 Annual Conference/Summit held in Abeokuta on the 25th September, 2021 under the chairmanship of Dr D. A. Adesanya, Provost, Royal Institute of Health Technology, Ifo.

He his acceptance speech, he said "title is all about responsibilities and i am ready to take responsibilities for the development of the association".

He added that, "Let us be rest assure that if there is a door we will have to knock, we will knock, if we'll have to open, we will open and if there is a mountain we will have to climb, we will climb it together for the progress of this Association".

When asked for his contributions towards the buying of bus for the association, he said "I am not a donor but I can mobilize people to donate massively".

Police locked up Alake of Egbaland palace ground

Policemen believed to be from the Ogun State Police Command on Saturday, took over the Ake Palace Ground in Ake, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, the venue of a parallel State congress of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State. The Police who were seen at the venue of the parallel congress, believed to be  loyal to former Governor Ibikunle Amosun, locked up the gate to the Palace preventing party faithful from gaining access. Many people believed to have been mobilised for the parallel congress were seen loitering around the Palace, unable to enter the venue. It was confirmed through independence  that the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba (Dr) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo was inside the Palace when the gate was locked on both APC members and the Palace inhabitants. A friend who couldn't graduate in LAUTECH because of 100L Biology Practical wrote this and I hope it will teach us a lesson.
