Arsene Wenger finally gets new coaching job

It’s Wenger’s first professional coaching role since ending his 22-year stint at Arsenal.

The Riyadh Season begins this month, with global entertainment festivals running until March next year.

The events will be spread across 14 different zones in the Saudi Arabian capital.

One of those will be the Riyadh Season Cup, where a team of Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr players will take on European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain that boast the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

On Sunday, Saudi Royal Court Advisor Turki Alsheikh confirmed Wenger’s role on Twitter.

He tweeted: “The great international coach Arsene Wenger was signed to lead the stars of Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr against Paris Saint-Germain in the cup.”

Wenger is currently serving as FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development after leaving Arsenal in 2018.

The Frenchman won three English Premier League titles and seven FA Cups, leading Arsenal to an unbeaten league season in 2003/04 during his time at the club.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha The Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19,  Boss Mustapha, has said Federal Government workers without proof of  COVID-19 vaccination or test results done within 72 hours will be denied access to their offices starting from December 1. Police locked up Alake of Egbaland palace ground

Policemen believed to be from the Ogun State Police Command on Saturday, took over the Ake Palace Ground in Ake, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, the venue of a parallel State congress of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State. The Police who were seen at the venue of the parallel congress, believed to be  loyal to former Governor Ibikunle Amosun, locked up the gate to the Palace preventing party faithful from gaining access.
