FUNAAB Health Centre to administer COVID 19 vaccine

The Health Services of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta will in a bid to curb and assist in the fight against COVID 19 vaccinate interested staff and populace against the novel Coronavirus.
According to information made available by the director of Health Services, Dr A. O. Amusan, he said that the vaccine will be available on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st October, 2021 at the seminar room from 9am to 3pm.

He said "This is to notify the university community that COVID VACCINE (1st and 2nd doses) will be available for administration at FUNAAB HEALTH SERVICE.

This was coming few days after the Federal Government made an announcement that he will not take it lightly with any civil servant without COVID 19 vaccination card with effect from 1st of December 2021.

Meanwhile, FUNAAB Health Centre had been playing an active role in the combat against COVID 19 with the vaccination of state and populace, as he had previously had 3 batches of vaccination processes in May, June and August 2021.

    Some of us have taken first dose outside waiting for one month to take second dose. Will the vaccine be available every day

      No, this vaccination is just for two days but I will suggest you check at the clinic tomorrow or visit Alogi Health Centre if you can't collect the second dose tomorrow.

Tribute to Pa Afolabi Oyero

Pa Abdulfatai Afolabi Oyero was born on the 23rd of march, 1923 to the family if late Pa Omonije Oyero and late madam Konigbagbe Oyero of Iro town, Obafemi Owode Local Government area of Ogun state. He had to formal education, yet kept records of all events that occurs during in life time. While young, he is into the trade of exchange of palm kernel (Ekuro) to Lagos through water transportation, for mat producing materials (ifi), along with a full time farmer and fisherman till the early 21st century. He loss his wife, Late Madam Musiliat Ajiun Oyero on the 20th October, 2005. Pa Afolabi was also called to eternal glory on Wednesday 27th April, 2016 at the age of 93, after a brief illness and was hurried on the same day according to Islamic rite.
