OGSCOTECH Alumni electoral committee releases election guidelines
The National Electoral Committee of the Alumni Association of Ogun state College of Health Technology, ilese had released the election guidelines for the forthcoming general election.
According to the document made available, it was stated that both aspirant and electorate must be a financial member of the association of two years and one year respectively.
It was added that the aspirants must be of good character and must not have questionable behavior with two alumnus referees.
In addition, aspirant for the post of president must have graduated from the Institution at least ten (10) years, Vice Presidents, Secretary and Treasurer seven (7) years while other positions five (5) years.
Details below:
1. Only Alumnus of the Institution with evidence of at least (2) years payment of Annual dues (2020 & 2021, with Bank Reciept) shall be allowed to contest.
2. Candidates for election shall register on individual basis with the commission, with two alumnus as referee and 1 passport photograph each.
3. Only Alumnus of the Institution with evidence of at least (1)year payment of Annual dues (2021, with Bank Reciept) and copy of their School certificate shall be allowed to vote.
4. Candidate shall register with a NON REFUNDABLE FEE to the Commission, and such shall be paid into the Alumni Associations Account.
5. Candidate seeking for any post MUST NOT have any questionable character.
6. Candidate must obtain an Aspirant Form from the Alumni Secretariat with evidence of payment (Bank Receipt), such form will be filled and submitted with (2) passport photographs and photocopy of the below documents.
a→ Certificate obtained from the Institution.
b→ Any Legal means of identification.
c→Bank Receipt/Teller of at least (2) years payment of Annual dues (2020 & 2021).
d→ Reference letter and passport photograph from each referee as filled in the Aspirant form.
e. 10 copies of Aspirant manifesto.
7 ▪ Candidate seeking for the post of President shall have graduated from the Institution at least 10 years.
8. Candidate seeking for the post of Vice-President (Admin) and (Academics), Secretary, Treasurer, shall have graduated from the Institution at least 7 years.
9. Candidate seeking for other post shall have graduated from the Institution at least 5 years.
10 . Candidates are to submit Aspirants form at least a week to Election Date.

The election is scheduled to come up on the 13 of November, 2021 by 10am at the College Auditorium
