OGSCOTECH Alumni Electoral Committee Released Campaign Codes and Conducts

As the election into the National Executives Council (NEC) of the Alumni Association of Ogun state College of Health Technology, is less than one month, the electoral umpires had released the campaign codes and conduct.
The document made available and e-signed by the PRO of the committee, Com Ogunyinka Ojukotimi, stated as follows:

"CAMPAIGN CODES AND CONDUCTS

1. Postals are not allowed until an aspirant has obtained His/Her application form. 

2. Candidates/groups must campaign in a positive manner never disparaging or offering negative comments about other candidates/groups or the Alumni Association.

3. Campaigning must conform with the alumni association code of ethics in line with the electoral guidelines.

4. Candidates are the face of the Alumni and must uphold its core ethical values of integrity, innovation and social responsibility. 

5. Candidates may use personal media channels to generate enthusiasm about voting in the Alumni election and to campaign for their own election in accordance with the codes and conducts of the electoral guidelines.

6. Candidates/groups are not allowed to post postals indiscriminately.

7. Candidates/groups are not allowed to use hate speech or image that are discriminatory.

8. Every aspirants/groups has the right to campaign without violence or infringing the rights of others.

9. All campaign ends on Thursday 11th November, 2021 @11:59p.m.

10. Any candidates/groups that goes against any of these conducts, after its release shall be penalized or disqualified as deem fit by the electoral committee.

FUNAAB Health Centre to administer COVID 19 vaccine

The Health Services of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta will in a bid to curb and assist in the fight against COVID 19 vaccinate interested staff and populace against the novel Coronavirus. According to information made available by the director of Health Services, Dr A. O. Amusan, he said that the vaccine will be available on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st October, 2021 at the seminar room from 9am to 3pm. He said " This is to notify the university community that COVID VACCINE (1st and 2nd doses) will be available for administration at FUNAAB HEALTH SERVICE. Venue Seminar Room Dates 20th & 21st October 2021 Time 9am ~ 3pm. Dr A O Amusan DHS." Tribute to Pa Afolabi Oyero

Pa Abdulfatai Afolabi Oyero was born on the 23rd of march, 1923 to the family if late Pa Omonije Oyero and late madam Konigbagbe Oyero of Iro town, Obafemi Owode Local Government area of Ogun state. He had to formal education, yet kept records of all events that occurs during in life time. While young, he is into the trade of exchange of palm kernel (Ekuro) to Lagos through water transportation, for mat producing materials (ifi), along with a full time farmer and fisherman till the early 21st century. He loss his wife, Late Madam Musiliat Ajiun Oyero on the 20th October, 2005. Pa Afolabi was also called to eternal glory on Wednesday 27th April, 2016 at the age of 93, after a brief illness and was hurried on the same day according to Islamic rite.
